A bit more about me...
Mr. Anderson earned a B.A. in Music Education from the Kean University Conservatory of Music, where he received the Nadia and Fritz Lambert Memorial Scholarship, a full tuition scholarship for four years. At Kean he studied violin with Brennan Sweet, Associate Concertmaster of the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, and served as the University Orchestras Concertmaster. He has orchestral experience outside of Kean with both the Summit and Livingston Symphony Orchestras, in addition to being involved with many chamber ensembles. He has served on the programming committee for Arts Center Chamber Music Concerts of Teaneck, and worked as an Administrative Assistant through Kean in both the Educating the Creative Mind (ECM), and Advancing Interdisciplinary Research In Singing (AIRS) projects. Through the AIRS project, he was given the oppourtunity to co-present research findings with his professor at an international research conference.

Prior to working for Summit Public Schools Mr. Anderson has had experience teaching in both his hometown of Teaneck, and in Madison New Jersey. His student teaching experience took place in Roselle Park, West Orange, and in Summit working with Mrs. Viershilling at Summit High School. He has volunteered his time working with the American String Teachers Association Chamber Music Institute (ASTA/CMI) and at Arts High School in Newark.
